Online documentation - Websydian v6.5 |
Severity | Low |
---|---|
Product | Websydian DWA |
Websydian version | v5.6 and later |
Plex version | N/A |
Platform | iSeries, Windows, and Java |
Category | DWA runtime |
Problem | The error message "Illegal key in request" is reported in the browser |
Answer | This is caused by the operator/developer performing a restart
of all Applicaiton Services and the Websydian Server.
By restarting the Websydian Server information about active sessions are lost. This causes all active sessions to be invalid and forces the users to restart the browser thereby obtaining a new session. |
Workaround | For daily operations always make sure that you do not restart
the Websydian Server only the Application Services.
Restarting Application Services has become much easier with Websydian v5.7 and Websydian Express v1.2. |
